TOURIST TUESDAY: DAY EIGHT. GULINGAN VILLAGE, TAMAN AYUN TEMPLE PART ONE

Though neither Justin and I are into guided tours much, I did book one day of tours.

We were picked up from our hotel and our guide and driver took us to our first destination Gulingan Village, were we were feed afternoon tea. But the highlight for Jarvis was running through the village chasing chickens and watching some local boys fly kites.

After asking permission I spent ages taking photos of the boys and just watching them play.

Next stop was Taman Ayun Temple, it is located in Mengwi Village, about 18 Km north side of Denpasar town. With it's multistoried roof and Balinese Architecture, the beautiful landscape garden in front courtyard to it is a beautiful place to visit.

Just do not be a woman, at certain times of the month.
