This week it was all about ‘Selfies’ as it has been just Jarvis and I
for most of the week. So I put the camera on self timer and then we jumped in
front of it. I ended up with a lot of blurry images. But we had fun taking them, and jumping on the bed and cuddling. That boy is the best cuddlier!
Jodi over at Che
and Fidel has inspired me to pick up my camera
and turn the focus inward. Since I already take 100s of photos of my children
each week, so I thought I would twist the idea a little. What I never seem to
get is group shots, images of the family together, whether it is my two
children, Tamika and Jarvis, or me with the kids, or shots of Justin and I. So
I am going to challenge myself to get one image of "my
family" per week.
So what if blurry! These pictures are so full of fun and love we share with our toddlers.
ReplyDeleteI almost din't use them because they are all soft/blurry. But then I love them because we had so much fun taking them
ReplyDeletefirstly Jarvis has grown!!!!! secondly....pleeeeeease be in front of the camera more! I love seeing YOU! your style is awesome....it simply is! Too brilliant not to share with us more. don't give a hoot about the 'blurry' every one is a winner xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the Julie, they capture so much joy and of course your amazing hair!
ReplyDeleteThey are just too quick ! I never get a good picture of Dominic and I with my Canon Rebel, I can only get one of the both of us with my cell phone. Despite the blur, I find these photos adorable <3
ReplyDeleteIs it possible for a child to grow up in one week? It seems since Justin left, Jarvis has matured so much
ReplyDeleteJarvis had so much fun, after each image and watching the flashing light, he had to look at the back of the camera and check out the image. Such a critic he is
ReplyDeleteIn a way the blur is like life with Jarvis. Always on the go and growing up so fast. Little boys in fast motion.
ReplyDeleteI've yet been able to take a proper selfie with Alexander! He's still too floppy. Maybe when he's a bit bigger.
ReplyDeleteThe blurs are an accurate depiction of life with an active toddler, though!! Especially love the first one. =)
