WALKING AWAY

I deleted Facebook off my phone at the beginning of the year, and messenger mid-Feb. And I don't miss them at all. Oh, don't get me wrong, I still am addicted to Instagram, oh all the pretty pictures... And yes every few days I jump on my computer and have squizz at FB. But, I am so happy they are gone off my phone.

I would find myself getting annoyed at my phone, all of those annoying notifications. Making the phone demand my attention. I HATED how every time someone made a comment in messenger a 'bubble' would pop up on my phone. I, we, tried several ways to stop it. But, if several people where chatting in a group conversation I would have these bubbles all over my phone.

I would leave group conversations just to avoid this. Then, I got questioned a couple times why I was leaving conversations. In the end I thought, too much. Delete.

Now, I am left wondering what other annoying things could I 'delete' out of my life?

What little things annoy you, that if you thought about it, you could easily walk away from?

MUMS IN BUSINESS: EM FROM LITTLE TIENDA

Normally when I write a 'Mum's in Business' post I like it to be full of positive information, and inspiration, on how Mums can achieve their dreams.

However, unfortunately this post is not one of those.

I will start with the good stuff. Em lives in Melbourne, and since has been running her online business Little Tienda. She has built up an amazing business, while also being an incredible Mum and woman.

Since 2012, visionary Em Dezentje has held an inspired vision to fuse the traditional techniques of Mexican artisans with the fun of Australian style. Passionate about fair trade and establishing a strong relationship with the artisans to provide high quality pieces straight from Mexico - minus the jetlag, Em’s inherent support of Mexican artisans has created fulfilling long-term relationships - and new projects to support these communities. The bad stuff, for the past seven Months Em has been fighting for her business name and reputation. All because an imposter from the states has set up a business stealing the Little Tienda name, and even stealing images directly from Em's instagram account.

Now, to make it even more compounded, during the night, on Tuesday night, instagram shut down the REAL Little Tienda instagram account.

Em owns her business trademark, and the copyright to all of her images on her shop and social media, yet instagram shut her account down. Em and her lawyer are trying to sort this out, however until then please go to her new instagram account and show her some love.

Then, pop over to her shop and appreciate all of the wonderful goodies the REAL Little Tienda has on offer.

SIMPLE WORDS AND NOT AGING GRACEFULLY

Simple words can mean so much. Last night Jarvis told me my hair was "lovely" and was patting it. This morning in bed he said "golden hair, adorable". I love how he gives compliments. I can only hope when he gets older he will continue to do this for myself, and others.

So if you follow me on instagram you will know that opps I went and coloured my hair again. Yeah, yeah, I know I was going to go a 'normal' colour. But life is too short to be boring. 

Think this makes ten or more different colours since I turned 46 in September. Pitty I don't have a photo of each colour. Guess, since Justin is always too busy to take my photo, I should learn how to take a selfie. 

Mid-life crises? Definitely not aging gracefully.

I finally got around to adding the buttons that link to my Facebook Page, Instagram account, Email, and a follow on Bloglovin. Okay, let’s be honest. I didn't do it. I got Tamika to do it for me. I am so not technical minded.
