By this time two years ago, I
had been in labor for about 18 hours or more. Still have about another 20 or
more to go. The pain came and went, but the urge to hold my baby was getting so
strong.
I have been searching all day of a photo of me when I was pregnant with Tamika, I cannot find a single one. I feel so lucky this time round I have heaps of images to document the journey I went on, but sad I have nothing of Teak. All Mums need photos!
Good times... actually, sometimes I sorta miss it. The intensity of pregnancy and birthing. Nothing quite like it!!! If I do the maths right, tomorrow is the birthday, right!?!? (PS - I am hopeless at maths...) x
You maths was wrong! ha! I posted this Tuesday 3rd when I had been in labor for about 18 hours. Jarvis was born another 20 hours later on the 4th of December at 9.13 in the morning... It was a very long weekend two years ago when Jarvis appeared. But I too miss the pregnancy and birthing and if I could I would do it all again
& with that Happy Birthday to your little one <3
ReplyDeleteHappy BIRTHday, mama! (And can I just say, you look AMAZING for someone who had been in labour for 20 hours?)
ReplyDeleteLOL, shall I post the images after the C-section? Looked like crap then!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe tomorrow Jarvis will be two!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Jarvis...and to you too...I think children's birthdays are always so special for the mom too.
ReplyDeleteYour bump was gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteOmg! Happy birthday to your little one! Time goes by so fast when you're looking back, doesn't it? Great that you have these photos to look back on!
ReplyDeleteTotally jealous of your red hair... love that color so much (but too scared to do it myself!)

I love that I have these photos to look back on. Time goes so quickly you forget things.
