THIS WAS ME TWO YEARS AGO TODAY

By this time two years ago, I had been in labor for about 18 hours or more. Still have about another 20 or more to go. The pain came and went, but the urge to hold my baby was getting so strong.

  5. Happy birthday to Jarvis...and to you too...I think children's birthdays are always so special for the mom too.

    Your bump was gorgeous!

  6. I have been searching all day of a photo of me when I was pregnant with Tamika, I cannot find a single one. I feel so lucky this time round I have heaps of images to document the journey I went on, but sad I have nothing of Teak. All Mums need photos!

  7. Omg! Happy birthday to your little one! Time goes by so fast when you're looking back, doesn't it? Great that you have these photos to look back on!

Totally jealous of your red hair... love that color so much (but too scared to do it myself!)

  9. Good times... actually, sometimes I sorta miss it. The intensity of pregnancy and birthing. Nothing quite like it!!! If I do the maths right, tomorrow is the birthday, right!?!? (PS - I am hopeless at maths...) x

  10. You maths was wrong! ha! I posted this Tuesday 3rd when I had been in labor for about 18 hours. Jarvis was born another 20 hours later on the 4th of December at 9.13 in the morning... It was a very long weekend two years ago when Jarvis appeared. But I too miss the pregnancy and birthing and if I could I would do it all again
