Tongue out in concentration, helping Daddy

Lazy Sunday mornings are the best. After helping Tamika move house all day yesterday it is nice just to hang out in our pjs and do very little. Washing for me, and guitar repairs for Jarvis and Justin. All day yesterday Jarvis said "ME help Dick" wanting to help her move house, this morning it is "Me help Daddy". Wanting to help Justin replace his guitars strings. I think I hear "me help" at least a dozen times a day.

Last year Jodi inspired me to pick up my camera and turn the focus inward. This year I have opted to continue with the series as I feel there are still so many family stories to be told through photos. So I will continue to Link up with Jodi  (the artist formerly known as Che & Fidel now Practising Simplicity) for the 52 Project.

Also linking up with Bron over at Baby Space with the quote a week.

  1. We have a 'Me help'-er too (normally closely followed by 'I do it!')

  3. This is a really sweet scene, Julie. I like that the 52 project reminds us to capture these little moments. x

  4. So true, and because I am doing 'family' shots it is capturing memories of how they interacted.

  5. I appreciate PJ days so much now that they're balanced out by out of home work and lots of other activities. and I am loving your dining chairs!

  6. it takes more patience to let them help does't it? and does he get to have go on the guitar too? it must be tempting!
