A boy and his cat. Or sometimes I think Tira thinks Jarvis is hers. Where ever one is the other is always close by. Whether they are playing or sleeping. This time I spied on them playing in the yard together.

Last year Jodi inspired me to pick up my camera and turn the focus inward. This year I have opted to continue with the series as I feel there are still so many family stories to be told through photos. So I will continue to Link up with Jodi  (the artist formerly known as Che & Fidel now Practising Simplicity) for the 52 Project.

  1. I love children and their pets…so sweet.
And how grown up is Jarvis! It is funny how sometimes I realise how big C is getting from people's comments on the blog…and by seeing how big his blogging peers are getting!

  2. Jarvis looks so adorable, and what a lovely relationship between Tira and him. I remember my dog Sarah, when I'd leave the house she'd be waiting for me by the gate and once I got home she'd walk with me to the back door, drop me off there and then do her own thing :) How I miss her xoxox

  3. I think it is because we see our 'babies' every day. It is almost as if you need to step away from them to see how old they are becoming.

  4. Tira is a strange animal. Tamika got her for me for Mother's Day five years ago. As a rescue cat (she had been badly treated) I was not sure how she would be around Jarvis. Tira has a history of scratching people she does not like. My Mother-in-law cannot go anywhere near her. So we were not sure what she would be like with Jarvis, from the moment I was pregnant Tira slept on my belly every night. She is his protector and little shadow. Tira turns into attack cat if anyone is being rough with Jarvis, you have to be careful playing chase as Tira will attack who ever is chasing Jarvis.

  5. Love. I often think our dog Frankie believes Alexander belongs to her too.
