GIVEAWAYS. BLOG LOVE. PARCELS FROM THE POSTMAN

It was my birthday last week. However, yesterday it felt like it was all over again. In the mail I received not one, but two lovely gifts from two amazing women. It is no secret I am a huge fan of old fashion mail, but receiving parcels is heaven!

The first is a Raw Food Recipe Book, which Bella from Sea and Salt gave me, The Art of raw Living Food. The second parcel contained Natural Instincts Baby Range, which Caitlin, from Mother Down Under, hosted a giveaway on her blog.. Caitlin you have no idea how much Jarvis is going to love this. Everyday he spends ages moisturising, so I cannot wait to try this on him.

In the middle of the chaos of moving home, I was thinking how wonderful this blogging community is. So I wanted to stop packing (well who blames me, no one enjoys packing) and hop on her to say thank you to two women who underline why I love blogging. No, not the giveaways, but the sense of community.

    1. I have had such a positive experience with the blogging community. It does my heart proud of how many inspiring creative types there are out there who share their world with others.

  3. Happy Birthday Sweets.
I so get what you mean and what you feel about the sense of community. I'm being blown away by the kindness and sweetness of others, especially and even more so in the last three weeks since having bubs.

Enjoying those lovely gifts and products. X

    1. It blows my mind. I started my blog as I felt isolated after having Jarvis. I know no one my age who has a baby, most women my age are becoming Grandparents. I was good to connect to other Mums. But also like minded women, women who like sewing, thrifting, living a meaningful life.

    1. It was a nice day. Tamika took a half day off work and took me out to lunch. Then had dinner with the family that night at a Mexican restaurant. Oh and don't forget the Basking N Robbins birthday cake!

  5. Ha ha...I didn't realise that Jarvis was so dedicated to moisturiser...it really is perfect for him then!

    1. Dedicated is almost an understatement. After each shower, full body massage with moisturiser. Before each sleep/nap he wants his hands and feet moisturised, and he will often come up to me with hand cream and climb on my lap asking me do his hands. He will also do the same with Tamika, get a bottle of moisturiser and go lay on her, as if to say pamper me! Justin calls him the pampered Prince.

  6. I love good old fashioned snail mail too and even better when it is treats and not bills. I'm looking forward to receiving my Raw food copy that you kindly nominated me for. Thanks so much. How good do the Baby Organics look?! Elaina xo

Comments are almost as good as getting a letter or parcel in the mail.
